Several years Later

Several years had been and gone since those care free fun filled days round "the track" back in SA.
I had even moved country! and returned to my native England.I had also purchased a house with my lovely girlfriend and unbelievably, we had a child on the way!
My hobby for many years was that of playing video games. At first on the Play Station 1 & 2 and on PC for on-line shooters. The Play Station was for beat em ups and footy against your mates with a few cans, but the PC was the kind of on-line and of First Person Shooters, Quake 3 arena, Unreal Tournament, Enemy Territory and Call of Duty. I hammered these games each and every day that was I able, I was in Clan's(groups of gamers that play as a team) I even played competitively in one of the games.

Eventually people got bored with FPS game on the PC, as the Xbox had on-line vs play in an FPS that actually played well.
Halo
Halo changed everything, after this people started realising that FPS on consoles was fun! I on the other hand, eschewed the console. I was a purest, give me "keyboard and mouse or give me nothing!" This lackout of interest in on-line console gaming pushed my PC gaming into new territories...

MMORPG's - Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game.

I started with Star wars galaxies. and after several years of playing that I eventually caved and moved over to this game everyone was going nuts over....
World Of Warcraft(affectionately know as WarCrack)

This was no ordinary game, this game was fun and addictive, as addictive as the crack or any other drug. The game is great fun, but it consumed my life. I played every chance I could, obsessing over in-game loot and reading tactics on-line for encounters in raids. I bought all the expansions and even booked holiday from work in order to play one of the expansions on launch day.
Eventually though I grew bored and disinterested with the game and moved to others, none of which could ever match the fun of Warcraft, so I hung up my mouse and knocked MMO's on the head, deciding that I needed a more outdoors hobby that gets me to interact with other real people, not pixels in game.

After giving it some good thought and having a look on-line I decided it was time to pick up on a passion from my younger days....

RC Car racing!
